**********FALL FOLAGE RIDE**********
Mission Riders will be holding a Fall Foliage Ride to Green Bank and Cass, WV on Friday-Sunday, October 21-23,2011
This is a 3 day trip and is open to motorcyclists and cars.The trip will consist of mountain riding, a tour of the giant radio telescope facilities at Green Bank, riding the Cass Scenic
Railroad to the top of Bald Knob mountain, as well as tours of the historic town of Cass and the Logging Museum.
Bring you camera! Note:Camp Grounds close to the area
Itinerary:
Oct.21- 9:00am leave Mineral Baptist Church(51 Louisa Av) lunch in Monterey,VA,tour the Green Bank Radio Telescope,
check in the motel (The Inn at Snowshoe), dinner at the restaurant.
Oct.22- 7-9:00 am - breakfast at the restaurant
10:00 am - Ride/Drive to Cass,WV Scenic Railroad station
12:00 noon - Board Cass Scenic Railcar to Bald Knob (4.5 hr ride
The weather may be cold, dress warm)
5-7:00 PM - Back to motel, dinner at restaurant
Oct. 23 - 7-9:00 am - Breakfast, tour ride/drive back home
COST: $32.00 TRAIN TICKET.. $157.00 FOR 2 NIGHTS IN MOTEL
